Over the past few years I have 'met' many cousins who have inspired me and kept me 
searching when I had come to an impasse.  Many thanks to all the 'Robinson' cousins 
and to Janet Hopton, who has been fanastic in sleuthing around the 
graveyards of Barton, Askham and Ousby in her tireless pursuit of the Howes.
  
Special thanks to Diane Cain in Canada. It is through Diane's family that so many 
photographs and letters of the Howe family still exist and to Mike Chisnall for 
sending me the most wonderful photographs of the Harrisons.
